I couldnt make it on saturday, but did on the Sunday.
Having seen some super pictures of the event itself, here are some pictures of what happened on Suday evening. My only picture of the 'show', the two Marshalls were moved close together, so I took a pic. http://www.steamscenes.org.uk//ttu/00005560.jpg Following the show on sunday evening, a number of engines made their way to Johnsons yard nearby in Banks. Here is Mr Moores Tasker 'The Horses Friend' following John Johnsons Burrell http://www.steamscenes.org.uk//ttu/00005561.jpg And safely at base waiting its turn to be kept in the shed, trust me it steams like a banshee. I hate having engines blow off. http://www.steamscenes.org.uk//ttu/00005562.jpg I missed Mr Coles and his clayton, but after that was Mr Cowell with his super Marshall. http://www.steamscenes.org.uk//ttu/00005563.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk//ttu/00005564.jpg Then Mr Porters Burrell, by all accounts running better than ever after its recent crankshaft repair. http://www.steamscenes.org.uk//ttu/00005565.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk//ttu/00005566.jpg Sadly I also missed Mr Wilkinsons Foden 'Prospector' as I was busy. Hope you enjoy. |
