Traction-Talk - Thurlow Rally 2009

This year’s Thurlow Steam and Country Show takes place on the Horseheath
Racecourse near Cambridge on 1st and 2nd August.

The event started in 1981 under the East Anglian Traction Engine Club,
which ran the event till 1988. It carried on under the organisation of
the late Don Loveday till 2007.

This year sees the reunion of the Thurlow Rally with the East Anglian
Traction Engine Society, as it now is. The support of the Society will
hopefully secure the future of the event while maintaining its unique
character for years to come.

The same committee will be running the show, and as ever will welcome
any offers of help or sponsorship.
