The best model engineering show in the country is at WILTON village hall near SAILSBURY on APRIL the 4and 5. Only held every two year,s and only TOP quality exhibits. Not to be missed.

You said "my area" but without saying what that area is.

Bristol hold a superb exhibition each year, this year on 21st-23rd August, see http://www.bristolmodelengineers.co.uk/exhib.htm

But, a quick search revealed:

Calling Wilton a village! you will end up in the town stocks, Wilton is the ancient capital of Wessex.

This excellent model engineering exhibition is organised by Peter Parrish on the 4th & 5th April from 10am to 5pm. All profits go to local charities.
The Michael Herbert Hall is on South Street, Wilton. Parking will be limited due to the presents of one local 12” scale Burrell.
