Netley Marsh

I last attended this event in 2014, and I'm sure it wasn't as big as it is now back then. Every class of exhibit was well represented, and it was easy to miss some parts that were in a sperate field. On Saturday, the weather was overcast with some light rain when I was there, so pictures not the usual bright sun/blue sky type.
In 2014, I took this of Aveling 12470

Looks better now,

There was a good range of engines, some in the working areas. A nice trio of Sentinels caught my eye.

As usual there were plenty of Aveling rollers, but these two Fowlers made a nice comparison.

A brace of Wallis & Steevens.

There were plenty of others, this is just a flavour to maybe tempt others to add more.

Although I haven't yet attended, Netley Marsh certainly looks like a nice Steam Rally. How many Full-Sized Traction Engines did they have, this time?

There were around 40 listed in the program, but not all were there on Saturday. Only a couple missing I think. Certainly worth a visit, with two arenas on the go, as well as the working areas. A plethora of cars, motorbikes, commercials, military, tractors, miniature steam, as well as heavy horses and falconry displays, even ferret racing. £10 entrance for seniors, £3 for a pretty comprehensive program.
