Twyford water works
 

Twyford Hants, 4th&5th May. We are taking "The Favourite" along, maybe one or two other engines there.
The main event is the steaming of the 1914 Hathorn Davey triple expansion engine drawing steam from the c1900 Babcock boiler. A most pleasant place to visit in the Countryside.

I allways enjoy steaming days at our local pumping stations here in Durham.
Tees Cottage and Ryhope.

Please if you have never been and are in the area go along - Twyford is a fascinating place and the May rally is well worthwhile.

When I booked the Favourite in for the weekend, I didn't expect to be admitted to A and E so we won't be able to attend .
