We attended on Monday and stayed in a good value Premier Inn in Telford which meant we could drive directly to the show and be there at 08.30 and enter at 09.00. Leaving at 17.00 there was a bit of a queue but taking the far lane and turning left for Welshpool as recommended inside the back cover of the programe worked wonders!

Anyway, I recorded 94 tracion engines, 2 steam cars and a steam buggy on Monday.

It was indeed a great show as usual, I could just have done with a little mor sunshine!

Can I just point out one picture incorrectly catalogued. Listed as Foster Sprig Shrewsbury 2015 I believe is in fact Foster 14622.

Agreed, how it got to be there is lost in the sands of time. I've looked back at the 2015 report which included 'Sprig' even though I think it wasn't there! Entering and maintaining these historical images is a nightmare. Anyway, I've removed it and hopefily most if not all similar on other pages.

I was hoping to quietly get rid of them until last year one owner told me how much he liked looking at the old pictures of his engine.

If I had my time again I would set up a database like DC did with Steamscenes which I still consult from time to time.
