Aveling and Porter E type for sale

1926 6NHP Piston Valve, 10 tonne steam road roller. Supplied new to Northwich County Council in 1926.

Just re-commissioned for use after new firebox, new firetubes, new tube plate, and new half boiler barrel. All in excellent mechanical and boiler order. Good gears and decent thickness on the rolls. Drives well and ready to rally.

Hydraulic test done in April 2023.

Date of next steam test will be 22/4/2024.

Kept inside in purpose-build shed.

Also included is full set of firing irons, canvas sheets and a selection of sundry items.

Named Seagry after the village in Wiltshire where she was once a playground attraction prior to restoration.

Available to view near Penzance, Cornwall.
