At the request of the owner I am advertising Fowler DNB compound No 17492 for sale.

Sold new to the city of Londonderry in 1928.

This roller is to be sold with the two wheeled mechanical gritter it has been paired with since it was restored to an exceptional standard by Robin Knox in Yorkshire.

Complete with mechanical chain driven tar pump, and tar sprayer.

Mechanically superb, I have driven this engine myself, and it has been owned and maintained by a very respected engineer and personal friend of mine for the last 20 years.

Painted in Fowler's purple brown livery, aswell as the gritter the roller will be sold with a two wheeled water cart, and a set of Herherington oil lamps.
