There was a weekend of all kinds of steam at this site just outside Christchurch.

Wilson Lythgoe has sent me pictures of the 30 road steam engines attending:

It can't yet compare to the amazing 2006 event but I would welcome more contributions to get the page up to 100 (and beyond),

I have had sight of a local TER from 1987 and it lists about 300 steam road engines.

Does such a list also exist for Australia?

Finally we shall pass on Trevithick Day this year, if anyone reading this is attending and would like to send me a set of pictures, I'll be very happy to upload them to my website.
