7/16th gauge glass
 

Hi All,
I'm after some 7/16" gauge glass and rubber seals for a friend, any one any ideas?
For a Merryweather fire pump.

Neither of them list 7/16"

I don’t think 7/16” is available anymore.

16th" sizes are hard to find. 7/16 and 9/16 are like hen's teeth. (Mine is 9/16th). The last lot I got was from the US, cheaper than UK suppliers as well.

They sell an 11mm diameter sight glass for expresso coffee machines. You would need to check the specification with their technical team. Please post how this goes. If these glasses are up to spec. they may be a cheaper source of gauge glasses than our usual suppliers.

They were 7/16" on a shand mason fire pump we did. couldnt find any glasses anywhere so ended up drilling the fittings and nuts out etc to fit 1/2"
