Nice one David,

I love the look of Fred's Aveling now, who would have thought it's the former Old Glory machine! And nice to see the scarifier back on it.

I am probably missing something, but what is the significance of some entries in your listing being highlighted in bold text.

I did wonder if these were "conversions" when I saw it on your list for Lincoln rally, but I am not sure now.

Hi Phil,

Bold just means an engine that has never appeared on Steam Scenes before. It just happened that 2 of the 3 I had never seen before at Lincoln were conversions.

It's quite unusual now for me to go to a rally and see more than 1 or 2 new engines so seeing so many new engines at Singleton (mostly from the Lillywhite collection) was a bit of an exception.

I was going through all my pictures and sorting them into a new class structure as I talked about previously. It was taking too long however so have decided to put it on ice until I have finished adding the rest of my pics from 2008.

Some very nice picutres there David.

Is very nice to see a couple of pictures of our Sentinel 8945 on the road as I haven't seen any pictures of it on the road until now!

Thanks

Matt

You should venture south more often David!
I love the picture of the 'Q'. But it took ages to get her up on thise blocks! Was well worth it though
There some lovely pics, thanks. Still missing the Miniatures though! I'm starting to think you're predudice against the smaller variety of traction engines!

Matt
If you look at the Sewards show report thread there are some photos of your Sentinel on the road.

I took a few, none of your brothers engine I'm afraid, it was a bit dark in the woods where I saw it (although it was fantastic location)
