STEAM THRESHING in SKEGNESS.
All Welcome to join us for a days steam threshing with a rare Richard Hornsby 8 NHP 1886 "BOB" driving a 1896 Richard Hornsby threshing drum. All to take place on the weekend of. 25th & 26th October at the Church Farm Museum at Skegness lincolnshire. |

According to the latest TER, the engine was built 1892 No. 7297, imported from Australia.

Richard hornsby "BOB"
We have all the records for this engine and this will be the 2nd time the engine will have been driving a drum in this country. I hold my hends up I have make a mistake on the year of build it is 1886 not 1896 that is the year of the treshing drun I always get the two mixed up sorry.

Well the engine work well to day for the school kids and the drum well less said the better I think on that thing. I will try to find out how to put pictures on here for all to see the engine and drum working.
