Aveling and Porter 10ton cylinder cover
 

Aveling and Porter compound piston valve cylinder cover. 10 ton for sure , I think an F type . Cast ally cover with makers part number on rear 10893. Removed from a rollerduring restoration and lost for 10 years by the owner, who is no longer with us.

It is 31" long 11" wide at the LP cylinder position and 2" deep. No cracks a few 1/8" holes along with the 2 mounting bolt holes. It's looking for a new home that puts it on show again
