Not steam, but this caught my eye, as it was made by Fowler of Leeds, a 1PMD ( does this stand for Pump Mounted Driver?) from 1937. Found in a nursery in Basildon, Essex, running a compressor. Discovered in a poor state, with frost damage to water jacket and radiator. Restored in 2013, possibly, the only radiator cooled, running 1PDM in the country.

Do you know who owns the Fowler roller and where she is based? Thanks Jim |
According to the programme, 'Irish Lady' is owned by J. Murdy of Chappel, Essex

We popped along Saturday and had a lovely afternoon, unfortunately couldn't get there with the engine but will definitely be going next year
For a smallish show they had a really good selection of stuff and even the kids enjoyed wandering along the stationery engine line! |
Thanks for sharing pictures
