Hello. I have some of these that I machined up for the "Q" engine a few months ago. I drill the hole & tap it with a Whitworth thread just to give more area for the lead to stick to. I use old roofing lead melted in a bean tin. These plugs are very easy & quick to make. If you or anyone else needs one they would be £75.00 including postage. No V.A.T. Other styles, shapes & sizes I would gladly make if anyone is interested. Cheerio Michael Webber. |
Sorted Thankyou for everyone's help

I also have some if anyone is interested. Threaded and full of lead on inside £35 each .

That is good to hear. It is encouraging people are making their own. I can never understand people buying things like this from middlemen. I prefer to trade with the manufacturer as much as possible. M.

Totally agree Michael, I made loads of them years ago and are just sitting about plus I have a lot of ex Marshall plugs brand new from the firm . Need to start off loading some.

I bought mine, couldnt make it for what i paid. Better off doing an hour or two work and buying the plugs in my case.
