Traction-Talk - Scammell Highwayman and Scammell 4 inline Low Loader

Bought this old girl a few years ago and have hardly used it.
I thought I would be carrying my roller around on it but alas that is a long way off now due to repairs being needed etc.
The Scammell and trailer are now just taking up valuable room and when I get the roller back in a few years time I will just road it to wherever I need to go which wont be far!

Scammell Highwayman fitted with Leyland Powerplus engine. 1968
High Speed rear axle (Low speed included in sale)
Low Loader is special types, overwidth. Has good tyres.

I was told that the unit and trailer left the Scammell factory together as a matched pair.
I do not want to split these two as one is no good to me without the other. However I would be interested to hear any offers.

I am looking for offers over 23K which will be subject to VAT

Scammell Crusader 6 x 4 with Detroit engine. Runs and drives but needs a cab.
Scammell Super Constructor 1964. With Bedford type cab. Was one of two done on special order for a Cyrus contract, originally a ballast tractor. Again, cab in poor state and RR engine has cracked block. Replacement engine is available to the buyer
Scammell Pioneer 1946. Gardner 6lw was shot so a new one is sitting in it at the moment, just needs bolting back together. Genarally good condition but wood is past its sell by date
