Traction Engine Design and Construction

Hello all

I'm looking for a book called Traction Engine Design and Construction by G F A Gilbert. Does anyone have one they want to part with?

Thanks

Ben

This book is currently being advertised by Camden Miniature Steam Services for £21.

See their website:- www.camdenmin.co.uk

That is a digital copy, not a hard "book" copy.

Thanks for the heads up. Should have said in my post, I'm after a print edition.

Just a thought . . .
Why not buy the digital copy, get it printed and pay a bookbinder to put it together? Binding cost will be around £25 with hard covers - that is around what our students pay to get to get theses hard bound.
That is still cheaper than the price charged for copies of this book, albeit your copy would not be an original.

Cheers Carl.

I recall the NTET sold these a couple of years ago. I believe I paid £43 or thereabouts.

No longer sold by NTET. Spoke to them last week about it. I am willing to pay for a print edition but it depends on what someone wants for it otherwise I will get my own made from the digital version.

To give you an idea on what a printed copy currently costs, I recently got a signed copy from another forum member who advertised it here on the forums for £105 inc P&P which I thought was a reasonable price. Good clean copy too.

If you do want an original copy it may be worth keeping an eye on the for sale forums as one may just pop up.
