brass screws
 
Hi
l am try to get 6off ,1/4 bsw dome headed brass screws about 1.25" long
happy to pay but can not find any one that can help in less I buy 100's

You can get them from BAPP bolts in Barnsley.

Some on eBay with hex head you could always turn them down and cut a slot

I made some using large brass screws, turn the diameter to the correct size, then start a die over the screw end in the lathe and then one the die is cutting straight. remove from the chuck and grip the wood screw end in a vice and wind the die on until you have enough thread. Cut of the old wood screw bit and trim to length. It works well.
