aveling roller scrapper for tender

Been cleaning up other parts of my roller and have found a very large crack in the support for the scrapper that mounts in the tender. Does anyone have a spare one they would like to sell before I look at repairing this one, doesn't have to be complete as long as the casting is intact. PM me or email me at steamboy@hotmail.co.uk

Do they differ between different size engines?

Glen , it would not be a problem to cast a replacement from the old one .

make a template of the iron bit then smash it off the steel bar.

Make up a steel triangular pad, big old weld prep on the steel bar and weld together. then 2 hours work with the angle grinder you would have an acceptable repair

Why not spin up a piece of pipe, heat it and shrink it on?

Dose it really need to be replaced?

The problem is because it is at the back of the tender, they tend to be used as a means to get on to the footplate and a place for an extra passenger to stand, and the last thing I want is someone to stand on it and it fell and injure someone. All the suggestions above are options but if someone had one laying under the bench they are willing to let go of that would be easier.

Fair comment.

My water pocket is cracked, but all that has to do is support its lid, so that aint getting touched until it falls of.
