WESES Steam Apprentice Day
 

This weekend, the 7th & 8th May, at Stithians Showground TR3 7DP.
Hopefully nine engines attending and twenty plus apprentices.
The Foden Agritractor will be there, one of its few public appearances this Summer, so come along if you want to see it working.

We will be ploughing with it this Autumn, details nearer the time.

The best laid plans o mice and men 'gang aft awry'. A mechanical problem stopped us on the road yesterday after 8 miles running. I have recently had the trunk slides bored and lined to cure oil loss from the crank case (splash lubrication) and one of the crossheads was running far too hot so I aborted the journey and we towed the Foden home. My apologies to anyone who hoped to see the Agritractor in action this weekend.

Pity John , but nice to see you in person anyway.
