Slight adjustment to measurements
Ram needs to be 24" stroke
Cylinder diameter not so important
But rod needs to be 2" " to 2 1\2" diameter

Hello Martin,
Making a rivet squeeser by any chance ? I am in the process of making one at the moment, perhaps we could exchange ideas if that's what you are doing.

Regards Charlie

No afraid it's not for squeezing rivets .............
It's for tipping sand
Want it for the sentinel threeway tipping trailer we have just purchased
We have home made squeeze riviter up at our yard.
Will take some pictures next week end with some measurements if it would be of interest
Cheers martin

Try Neil gough, ('Tool box' on here i think.) He would be able to make a ram to what you require.

there is always loads of rams on e-bay.

Yes I keep looking but would really like to see it "face to face" rather than buying blind.
All the ones I find are always the other side of the British isles
One will turn up
Not in great rush as plenty of rust bashing and making good before I get to that stage
Cheers martin

Hello Martin,

Yes I would like to have pictures and sizes of your squeezer, I'm afraid that the 350 miles between us precludes a quick run over for a look. I have a small ram surplus but its only about 2"bore.
Send a private message if you prefer.

Regards Charlie
