Swap wanted - 6" steam tractor for full size roller
 

Hi

I am looking to swap my half size Savage LS steam tractor for a full size roller. Any make considered but preferably Wallis Advance 8 - 10 tonner. must be in working order with boiler cert. My engine is to a good standard and in full working order with all necessary build documentation and full boiler history. And comes complete with twin axle transport trailer, belt driven kibble mill and scale trailer for road runs. All in all the complete rally/road run package.

Looking to change later on this year (September onwards).

Good luck is all I can say. For the value of a Savage IMO you'll be lucky to get an engine in ticket I would suggest. I have been looking for ages and was lucky to drop into my Wallis. Most of the rollers we looked at were either too expensive or knackered in the boiler.

Yes I know it's a long shot but as the old saying goes 'you never know if you don't ask'. I am hopeful the right Advance will be out there somewhere! Can but see. I asked the same time last year and got nowhere so I am not expecting miracles.
