Himley Hall and Park, Steam Up

For the last two years a number of the BCLS have been joined by other steamers and like minded people to hold a ‘steam up’ at Himley Hall and Park.

The event has been organised by Jacki Wynn, who now is Assistant Events Officer for Dudley MBC, based with the Events Team at Himley Hall & Park. Many of you may remember Jacki organised the prestigious Wolverhampton Vintage Transport Show for many years.

For the past two years, this year the event has been limited to one day, but from 2017 it is to become a two day event.

If it does become a 2 day event I think we will be up for it.

That's good to know Phil, 2017 is planned to be the first two day, to date I'm informed we have we have 20 miniature steam engines, approx 30 vehicles including tractors/cars/motor bike/cycles/mini buses and 50 craft & Country stalls.
We are booking a Punch & Judy show and children’s funfair.
Bill Colley is coming with his mini fairground, we are sorting a spare market stall for him, but it's been suggested you put a call out for other table top displays as we have tables & tents here at Himley suitable for displays.
