Broken Firebar 10th August 2008 09:34 PM

Astle Park

Got back from Astle tonight.

I enjoyed it despite the weather (it was lovely and sunny this afternoon).

We played with Basil's and Sam's boys toys, had fun, managed to get to the low loader and load unaided despite some muddy bits!

We had a lovely fire in our new (ish) brazier, even better because it was Basil's coal!! :p

I still can't believe the amount of beer that Chris the Pole drank. He emptied our barrell pretty much single handedly!! :)

Cheers

The boy hasn't developed a taste for real beer at last has he? Or is is it that it was cheap so it appealed to the student in him?

Sorry I didn't make it down. Had to stay at home.

I think Mrs Broken Firebar did more than him actually! And don't forget that yours truly did some as well, as well as chris the pole.
