Dean Smith and Grace 13 x 30 lathe
 

I have been asked to offer this for sale by a friend (Nick) - apart from listing it I have no further interest whatsoever in the sale.

The lathe has not been used for at least 15 years but has been stored under cover in all that time. It is ex-Rolls Royce, hence the pea green livery.

I understand that the electrics need an overhaul but the mechanics are good, albeit in need of a good clean up to remove the grime and surface rust from standing.

It is located in Salisbury, postcode SP2 0EG. Lifting equipment is available to load your transport.

He is looking for around £500 but he is willing to negotiate.

Nick informed me this morning that the lathe was actually used only two years ago - not the 15 years I stated above.

Having seen a few Type 13 lathes sold recently I think this lathe is a bargain at this price - even if the electrics need an overhaul.
