Model Engineers' Day at the Forncett Steam Museum
Everyone within reach of south Norfolk on 4th October is invited to the 23rd annual Model Engineers' Day at the Forncett Steam Museum: http://www.forncettsteammuseum.co.uk/Site/Welcome.html.
By request, following an increase in the number of miniature road steamers last year, we're planning a run for them this year. (Sorry, no suitable pub nearby. We're going to the Norfolk Tank Museum instead.) If you'd like to exhibit a finished model or work in progress, we'd be delighted to see you. For full details and an entry form, just send me a PM with your e-mail address. Bill. |
Only two weeks till Model Engineers' Day at Forncett on Sunday 4th October. We've had 14 entries from miniatures, right up to 6 ins scale. This includes two 4 ins SCC Dodmans - is this a first? Also 'Singlespeed' has promised to bring his full size A&P roller to keep the little ones in order. We'd be pleased to see you too. There are some directions at: http://www.forncettsteammuseum.co.uk...o_find_us.html

Nearly there. Only a few days to go till Model Engineers' Day at Forncett on Sunday 4th October. Additional entries include a return visit from 12 ins scale A&P GND tractor 'Margaret' and a Likamobile. We've got pretty much a full house inside the museum for non-mobile models, plus an Insouciant Guide to building a 4 ins SCC Burrell.
Directions as in previous post. Hope to see you there. Bill. |
