Swanage Railway vintage transport rally 11/12/13 September 2015
 

Swanage railway have agreed to hold a small gathering at their norden station site hopefully featuring road steam, beer tents all sorted, music and Coles fun fair should be their. We have decided to hold it on the 11th 12th 13th September to run in conjunction with transport rally at Harmans crossso there's lots see and do.

The plan is to have a road run to swanage sea front on the Friday night and then have a beer ex train run on the Saturday night, the railway is running an intense service of steam and diesel.

We are hoping that we can get a few engines for this event and try if we can to make it yearly show if it all works, if you are interested in bringing an engine big or small please PM on here.

There will be lots of coal provided on site, if people are going to dorset we could arrange for engines to go straight to our site after if it masks it easier.

We've got about 6 miniatures and hopefully 12 full size engines attending so far with hopefully some more nearer the time committing to come. When we get closer to the event i will have list available of engines attending

About 6 miles maybe a fraction more, just trying to pull it all together now! We trains are sorted the fun fair is sorted I think we know what engines will be there just need to confirm the bar menu!!!

You bringing the engine?

All sounding very good! Yeah will be bringing the engine for the weekend, will have a look at the route of the road run closer to the time.
