First time at this rally ,compact and friendly though there didn't seem to be any miniatures.

I was very sorry that the weather was unkind on the Sunday as I had spent an excellent day there on the Saturday. I knew it must have been wet as it was where is was caravaning some 15 minutes away from the site. It was a great show full praise to all who worked on it.

what's the Fowler BF7190? Good strakes on her , not done much road work?

It is stunning I was speaking to the owners at the weekend, it worked in Australia and spent most of its life on belt work driving a pump in a mine, hence the good strakes.

Out of all the engines there at the weekend that was by far my favourite, the standard it has been restored to is fantastic, no extras no silliness just bang on what it always was.

Lovely. Sounds like my thougts on engines Chris!
