Lovely lot of trakshun engines enjoying the sun! Actually I went in and bought a shandy just to show there were no hard feelings.

We have had a fantastic 4 days here and thanks go to all the staff and the events co-ordinator Michael Stokes, for making us all welcome. Weather was a bit murky but there were still plenty of visitors to the show, even more when the sun came out Sunday and Monday.

Here's a few photos from Sunday. This was my first time at this event and the railway as well as being my first steam event of the year so it was well worth the drive down from Shropshire.

I just wanted to add my thanks to Michael and all those involved in organising a friendly and very enjoyable event. It was my first rally with my roller 'Rosetta' and lets just say the bar has been set very high. great job.

Lovely to see the pics of what was clearly a lovely weekend and a great rally. Really must get over one year - it looks fab. Well done to all involved :)
