Rempstone Steam and Country Show.

This was an excellent event with a good turnout in all sections, the steam and tractor exhibits being particularly good (in comparison to the previous event I attended, which was advertised as a steam fair, I travelled some distance and paid the usual entry fee to find three- yes, just three!, full size steam exhibits). Here are a few pictures:-

One of the famous pair of Beeby's ploughing engines, NR 1212 No.1641, dating from 1871.

Aveling T3 tractor No. 15288 from 1919 "Mr. Blower."

Rustons always made good products; like No. 115100 "Hildary" from 1920.

Always smartly turned out is Foster No. 14410 "Sprig" of 1920.
The ground was still a little soft in places, but the weather was good today; a grand day out.

Just got back from the show and had a great day , weather was perfect .
This is the first time I have visited this event and there was plenty to see especially on the steam front .
I came across the first roller I have seen fitted with rubber over the rolls and it looks great I had to look twice to notice .
The working areas were very entertaining which is for me most welcome as I don't come across many on the circuit .
The show is a credit to it's organizers and exhibitors
