Traction-Talk - The Joe Ellis Memorial Rally.

Hi all the Joe Ellis Memorial Rally is still on for the 27th of June 2015. The event is at Havenstreet steam railway on the Isle of Wight. The railway in itself is well worth a visit and will be in full working order through the day. The event will be running from 10 am until 10 pm and will have steam traction engines wagons and rollers and models. Vintage cars motorbikes and military vehicles. Lots of stalls selling good quality items and arena events. Our plan is too have something for everyone and enter to the memorial rally site is only £5 per family. Entry to the steam railway is at there normal rate. There will be live music from 5pm until 10 pm with local bands who are all excellent and will provide nice family entertainment throughout the evening. There will be a beer tent and food available throughout the day. It is out intention to provide a family day and raise much needed funds for the Joe Ellis Trust which is a local charity set up last year in memory of Joe who passed away aged 13 from cancer. All proceeds made will go to the charity who help children from the Isle of Wight suffering from cancer and there families in there time of need.
