Boiler Fittings Required for 1904 A&P R10/AC6 Convertable

Good day all,
has anyone got any boiler fittings that would fit our engine. We need gauge glass fittings (2 sets) 2 clack valves, a simpling valve and a blowdown valve. un-machined castings would be ok as I can machine them myself, gauge glass fittings need to be of the flanged type and machined although if they need the valves grinding or light machining that will be ok. Please PM me if you can help.
Thanks Clive Hiscock

Hi Clive

Firstly...overhead valve or outside valve?

The Cluny Square Aveling. Is it an RC10 or RC11 as in the TER?

Clive , don't dispair , or buy totally clapped out scrap . Acceptable modern equivalents are available from such as Chanter Biomed and BSS .

Modern sleeve packed gauge frames look horrendous. If you are interested in keeping your engine as original as possible, Stuart Gray will sell you set of modern sleeve packed gauge fittings that look like the old asbestos packed ones, so you get the best of both worlds.

I concur with Bob, my gauge glass fittings came from Chanter Biomed and I am very pleased them. They look most realistic, and were reasonably priced.
