1/4 Whit Brass Wing Nuts

Hi Anthony.

Try : Willenhall Fasreners Ltd . Willenhall , Nr, Wolverhampton West Mids. Tel. 01902 630760

They are very helpful with small quantities and one of the few places that actually stock a good range of Whitworth stuff.

Hi Anthony , I had an idle Google , and you might have to change your bolt size to 5/16 or to BSF .

Some hope at The Complete Automobilist , Seaware and Stationary Engine Parts . !/4 Whit is pretty feeble anyhow !

Thanks both, will try Willenhall, changing the thread isn't an option sadly as these are for the electric headlamps on our loco "Winston Churchill"

Alternatively, if it's any easier, get some 1/4 UNC wing nuts and run a BSW tap through them. Both threads are 20 tpi.

Pugh and Saunders are very good.

Willenhall came up with the goods and we will have the nuts tomorrow. Great service and a great price! Thank you

1/4`` whit brass wing nuts .

Hi Anthony .

Glad you got fixed up OK at Willenhall Fastenings .

I have always found they have the most amazing stock of stuff that most other places anywhere don`t even know about let alone stock it.

And I have only ever been a Trade Counter customer , but always found them most helpful and obliging, and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The `Black Country` scores again ! .
