Steam Extravaganza, London Kings Cross

A free event held in the Granary Square, behind London Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations, 11th and 12th October. A miniature steam and diesel railway, a short section of track with a pump trolley on, and various eateries. All in all this is now a very pleasant location.

Saw the signs for this yesterday morning when leaving KX, glad you went and shared the moment for us. Thanks!

Inside the Granary Building are a couple of model railways relating to the area: in 2mm scale, "Copenhagen Fields" and in 4mm scale "Gresley Beat".

It is impressive how the area is being transformed: it's been a long time coming!
