Miniatures at Honiton Hill Rally 2014
Here are some miniatures I took, I don't normally go for them but I know that there are those on here who like to see them as well as full size engine.
To those who do, enjoy. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19542 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19543 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19544 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19545 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19546 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19547 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19548 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19549 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19550 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19551 http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=19552 |
I like the 4" Fowler!

Surprisingly, despite my previous comments about photography etc. I do like miniatures and whatever rally I attend, I always photograph all of the miniatures as well as the full size steam engines. I think that miniatures are absolutely brilliant and a great credit to those who build and operate them. Their owners are always proud of them the only sad thing is that not many rally visitors take the time to stop and strike up a conversation with the owners which is a pity as they all have interesting stories to tell.
I have three book projects in the pipeline - I just wish that I had the time to bring them to fruition. One is the book about the Robey Tritandems. The second is a photo album of engines which I have seen in Devon and Cornwall and the third is a photo album of miniatures which I have seen in Devon and Cornwall. Hopefully, after next May I will have the opportunity to devote more time to my hobby and to the books as I hope not to be re-elected to the Council again. |
