First time that I have seen "Wallace" as a Showmans Engine!

Wallace does look great in Showmans form and the Balsdon family must have worked very hard as the engine was in Tractor form when I saw and photographed it at the Torbay Steam Fair on Sunday 3rd August 2014. What a transformation!!

It was masquerading as a Showman's when they bought it at auction

Well... We had heard that there were no showmans engines planning to attend the rally this year... A quick change of guise in top secret over the few evenings after the WESES rally the week before, and that little problem was soon overcome! The look of surprise on the organisers face when we arrived was brilliant- he had only seen the engine a few days before, in tractor form! A great rally as always. A few of my photos:
