Scammell wanted
 

looking for a scammell to restore, ex heavy haulage like a contractor or constuctor though anything considered, cash waiting for the right vehicle.

thanks hedge, have spoken to the owner, as usual its at the other end of the country, if nothing turns up nearer to home ( gods own county of yorkshire) i will have to travel, why do all the scammells seem to be down south. again many thanks for your info.

I have a very complete 1963 Highwayman original ballast box tractor awaiting a relatively straight forward restoration. All the parts including tyres are included.

If you have your heart set on a Constructor Dave Crouch of Crouch's recovery in Market Harborough is a good man to ask. Best to Google his details. I dont have his number any more.

hi dave, thanks for that,went down to dave crouch's on thursday and bought a constructor 30ton tractor unit and some recovery gear for my pioneer, bought a crusader of him several years ago, a very nice chap to deal with. john
