Can someone 'in the know' let me know what Friday's Road Run involves?

i.e. what route does it follow and is there a 'pit stop' at some hostelry along the way?

Thanks.

The road run route is approximately 16 miles and will be a circular route which is intended for all classes of vehicle. We hope that all participants will arrive back at the Low Ham site by 3.30 pm. Please be prepared to leave in good time to allow for this. There will be a short explanatory briefing at 9.00 am by the refreshment marquee and maps will be available when you arrive from the exhibitors’ entrance.
better late than never i suppose!

Somerset Road Run

Missed this of course as we were already on our way, but thanks for trying. We got sufficient information at the show site to intercept the run and spent a pleasant afternoon watching the lanes and main roads getting gently clogged, mostly with ic vehicles although eventually we saw a steam car, three traction engines and three steam wagons. There would have been more engines on the road in the general area on the Friday as several exhibits arrived under their own power.
By the time we left the site at 21.30, there were 23 steam engines present, I believe the programme listed 27 and maybe more would have arrived by opening time.
It was wet (very) on Friday night and with at best a cloudy Saturday forecast, I confess we slipped home. However, if you're in the area, the Sunday forecast is much better...
