Dr. Busker at Rutland Festival of Transport July 5th & 6th

I note that there is a charge of £7- adult entry (over 18's only) for Dr. Busker, Bar & Food on the Friday evening. Does anyone know if this event only has the one beer tent and are we to expect to see more of this in the future ?
Also, is Steve appearing at Hollowell the following night on a similar basis. If so, I will need to break it to my daughter Eleanor who has been joining in with his songs in many a beer tent since the age of 4 but is sadly at the moment only 17 !

Thoughts welcome.

Over 18's only?

The world really has gone mad.
Dr. Busker is quite tame entertainment really.
Within reason suitable for any age. If you're too young you just won't get it anyway.
However being brought up on a farm some ripe language was soon acquired and I got into some right hot water for swearing in school; first day in INFANT school! They were allowed to tell you off for such things then and hit you too; they fixed my vocabulary for a bit and healthy respect for teachers; how old fashioned.

I really have no idea Paul, I've booked the engine and the Land rover in but have not heard anything back. The do they had there last year there was no beer tent, but a bar and stage in a large open fronted hanger. Have you had any passes through?

Yes, pass received today with a flyer that detailed the charge for Busker on the Friday night. They are also charging £7- adults and £5- children for the entertainment on Saturday night. Set me thinking if Busker was at Hollowell as he appears to be on the Saturday, whether a charge to see him was to be made there.

Considering that Busker will be paid to be there by the people running the beer tent, I think its a damn cheek.

We exhibit, with all the cost that involves, pay for the beer, and then pay more to get in the beer tent.

Luckily at Hollowell, there are two beer tents, plus the road run out to the Chequers at Ravensthorpe, so you have the choice of some free watering holes.
