Weather was good by the look of it too.

About 8 hours of solid rain Saturday ruined the site but we had Brilliant sun and the site dried well throughout Sunday and engine movements were ok Sunday afternoon avoiding the soft spots!
Carrington is famed for the volume and quality of its vintage tractor section and this year was no exception with row after row of unique and interesting exhibits. Unfortunately the number of traction engines is severely down in previous years and no working area. Here’s hoping that given both carparks were full both days that the organisers can build the show back up again following a number of years of bad weather. t. |
I was pleasantly surprised by the state of the ground and the weather itself yesterday , agreed the steam numbers where down but the tractor content never disappoints at Carrington .
It was great to see Mr Crawfords TE2 Fowler even if only a static display , Considering the rain prior to the show days I think it turned out quite well . Dave |
Is that a two seater Spitfire ? in the last set of photo's

Yesterday a bomber went over the showground , I heard a guy say it was a B17 , pretty big plane .
|
A 2 seater spitfire flew over the site on Sunday on its return to base at Conningsby, and the B17 was heading to East Kirkby for one of their flying days

What's the Suffolk punch style engine?
