Dordrecht in stoom 2014

Hi,

I'm back from Dordrecht and it was quite a nice steam event in a particular nice urban setting.

There were roundabout 25 original size engines and some more miniatures I guess, did not count the miniatures, they were mainly 4" scale with some 6" amongst them.

The driver camp was a bit remote with a small road run of maybe 3 km to the centre of the town so I took the opportunity and made some pics on a bridge were everybody had to come by.

Please excuse the quality I'm not a big photographer and only have a tiny camera, it should be OK though to recognize the engines and maybe some interesting details ;)

The setting next to the 'Gracht':

Nothing wrong with your pictures Christoph

Hi David,

thanks, I just had a quick look over them on a small tablet and they looked a bit blurred in parts. Might have been a 'local' problem, looks OK to me too now :)

I will post some more later :)

cheers

Hi David,

it was nice to meet you 'in person' :)

I'm sure you will find a lot better pics than I have, I struggled a bit with the sunlight or the abscence of sunlight and all the people int he way ...

Looking forward to meet more people from TT in Dorset !!!

cheers

Hi Michael,

there are a couple of engines which I suspect to be conversions if that is what you mean, 'Lady Jane' for sure was a roller before, and there are a couple more but I do not know definetely ...
