3inch maxitrak aveiling lorry
 

Hello all was wondering if anybody had or knows best place to get the little horse and firing irons for this model so if anybodys got a set of drawings they no longer need many thanks lee

Paul they do not sell the scale aveiling horse

If you look at the pictures on their web site they appear to have horses on, must have got them from somewhere? Have you spoken to Andy (Probyn) about it? How about asking the Maxitrak Owners Club? I know someone with the Maxitrak Aveling tractor (same scale) I'll ask if that has one when I speak to him next, maybe he can take an impression of it for you so you could get one cast. Would turn out slightly smaller obviously but I don't suppose it will be that obvious when its fitted!

It would seem that Maxitrak incorporated the horse into the smoke box door casting. So 2 options, see if you can wrestle a new door casting out of them or make your own horse. Begs the question though if it was cast as part of the original door, where has yours gone, stable door left open?
