Scammell factory plaque unveiling
 

The Scammell register and Watford car club are overseeing a small road run to the factory site in Tolpits lane, Watford on the 15th September at 2 pm where a small plaque paid for by members of the register will be unveiled to commeorate existance of Scammell lorries and the site of the factory. Anyone can come, vehicles will be on show on at Croxley Green, Watford before and after along with Carters Steam Fair. If you have a Scammell come along or just come along anyway. Be at Croxley by 1 pm for the start of the run. We will be heading into Watford along the Rickmansworth road to then cut across to Tolpits Lane. Afterwards to carry on towards Rickmansworth to then come back round to Croxley Green again.

I believe some lorries will be on site on the Saturday as well but the official day is Sunday.
