700th St Lawrence fair, Hurstpier point, Sussex

On Saturday 6th, the annual St Lawence Fair held now in its 700th year! And for the first time since working days, a showmans engine attended! Paul Brown took along Burrell Showmans 2804 "White Rose of York" and generated all day for the Harris Fun Fair! On the warmest day of the year, I did feel sorry for Paul up on the footplate working White Rose hard! There was way too many people to get clear photos! White rose now travels with the Harris Fun Fair to their next destination of Ardingly!

And having spoken to Paul, it's going to stay just as it is. Hurrah!
