Suggest you set-up a search on e-bay, they come-up every week or two.

I could not say whether they do one that big, but laser tools are one of very few companys i know of who stock brand new well priced whitwortyh socket sets. I parted with a smidge over 15quid for a half inch drive rail of sockets.

Try A & R Sheldon of Stockport , who specialise in BSW / BSF tools .

Many thanks for the couple of responses, now have sorted a socket.

A R Sheldon came through quickly and reasonably, would recomend them to anyone.

Cheers

Alright Mark,

I see you're sorted now.

There's a good tool place pretty close to you. On the Portreath / Redruth road about a mile or so from Tolgus Tin.

Might be worth it for future reference if you did'nt know about it.

Sod's law!

They do some nice single row wire brushes, excellent for getting the soot out from between the tubes.

I'll have to pop in when we're down and see what the progress is like on the old girl.
