Rossington, 1st & 2nd June

We visited this small event just south of Doncaster with our Wallis and throughtly enjoyed it - no doubt the brilliant weather helped. Very well organised, very freindly, and resonably informal, though engine movements were restricted.
There were 2 other full size engines including an Aveling Showmans Tractor and a Sentinel S4 plus a selection of very nice minatures including an excellent 6" Burrell road loco.
The bulk of the exhibits were classic cars and bikes.
From a chat with the organiser I believe there is a plan for more engines next year.
As it is close to 'home' for the engine I hope to be there again next year.

We had a great time too, hope you had a good run back.
I will post some photo's when I get the chance.
