looking for turbine in working order

We have one fitted to Burrell 3098 it uses more steam than the engine.

And yet other ones work without trouble . There must be more to them than meets the eye . Can some of our friends who play on the Dark Side with railey thingies tell us anything ?

Turbines become horrendously innefficient once they are worn, a lot of Stones turbines suffer from a lack of oil, wich as a result stuffs there efficiency, also many people run them exhausting to atmosphere so you need to use the blower to make the boiler work for them.
