Steamfest, Sheffield Tasmania 2013

Just came back from Steamfest in Sheffield, Tasmania. What a hot day.
From a crowds point of view lots to see and do. I think a lot was there today, 2 more days to go.

Engines there, well lots! Most engines ever there since steamfest has been going, 19 years.
I let the pics do the talking

Make sure you say hello - i'll be wearing the usual ex work (ie free!) yellow high viz top - just ask for me at the ticket box and I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction!

Cheers

Thanks Damien for the photo's, lovely to see a great show in sunshine at this time of the year, rather dull cloudy and wet here today in the UK. Your photo's make us think of our rally season which I hope will be better than 2012.

Thanks again

Arthur

I think you may have the wrong Damien David,, cheers for the lap on the Marshall, it was good to catch up...
Sheffield is a cracker event that I would recommend to all.. A good line up with a fantastic rally atmosphere..
Thanks for the photos Foden Fan.
I had a quiet night on board the ship with no breakdowns which means I get to do it all again today at Scoresby, (couldn't have planned it better, even if I was on leave)

I did Damien, my apologies to both, it was a long day!

judging from the pictures it looks like there is loads of room to drive aroundin and no one in hi vis jackets telling you what to do, be nice to have that luctury over her. i would like to bring taz over david one day to take part in some of your events as it would be both some thing different and would be nice to take taz back to or at least near wear she spent her working life. i hope the incident with the aveling has been resolved and no one was hert.

regards sam

The heat wouldn't help either!

The Aveling, could be back in service today. Think it was just a minor fault, gasket blown perhaps? No one was hurt, plenty thought it was part of the display though!

Just a mud hole door joint failure, more spectacular than substantial.
