Lanlivery Rally.

Having visited the Eden Project today with my family, on our way home whilst driving up the hill from St Blazey Gate in the Lostwithiel direction, I spotted a sign in a field advertising the Lanlivery Rally which will take place in September!

Now I know why Cornish Rallies are so popular, you just advertise them early!!

Recommend this rally Tom, not big but friendly and usually with proper steam ploughing and all in a lovely hill-top setting. Put it in your diary now.

Well, at least it made me smile on the way home................. I was too busy watching the road to notice the dates. At least one thing, it reminded me that Spring is just around the corner after I made an appointment to see a brass welder after being down at the Eden Project for the day!

I hope that by saying second home that you mean't that by being "on holiday" it is your second home and not that you own a second home there. I am a Councillor and more so in South Devon second home owners cause a lot of problems within the community particularly in places like Salcombe where the place dies in the Winter and locals cannot afford houses because of all the second home owners.

With respect, this is a very thorny issue down here especially with the housing shortage.
