Renold Chain.
 

In a casual discussion with Derek Wheeler tonight about Walter Lisles and the Robey Tritandem, "Herts Wanderer", 45655/1930, I mentioned that we may need in the future to obtain new transmission chains for our Tri. Derek was telling me that there was a manufacturer in the USA. Further investigations on the internet have shown that this is correct and if anyone needs it, they can download a PDF catalogue from www.renold.com

These chains were used amongst other things on Robey tandem rollers and Tritandems as well.

When we fitted a new chain to the Sentinel (in 1978) we were able to order one through Claude Rye bearings, Renolds advised us that this would get us a better deal than buying direct, I can't remember what the price was, but it was as many pounds as it would have been shillings in 1922, Dad went up to North London to collect the chain in an A35 Van.

Mine had a new chain recently. I will look out the details for you Tom.
